A Tradition of Prayer

There is a TPH tradition that the morning of the eighth-grade and twelfth-grade graduations, students are prayed over by family and staff. As students leave one space and enter another, our prayer is that God will continue to shield them, grant then strength for each new challenge, and graciously pour His love into them through the new relationships that are ahead. Our hope is that students have encountered God while here and will grow more deeply in love with Him as they head to high school and college campuses. Tonight, a class of eighth graders will graduate and head into another summer, where at the end of it, they will be met with high school. Please join us in praying for these tender students who are sometimes confident, and sometimes, need a reminder that they are enough.

“The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him,” Nahum 1:7.
