On Friday, the halls were buzzing with characters from superhero novels, princess stories, athlete biographies, and so much more for the celebration of Book Day. Book Day occurs once a year where students, teachers, and staff dress up as their favorite characters from books and share their passion for reading and stories with classmates and friends alike.
Everyone gathers in the gym, carrying the book which represents their character, and share with the school who they are, and what book they are from. It was a morning filled with sharing stories, and skits performed by the teachers from short snippets in novels.
Reading is an activity that should be celebrated and shared with others, which is why Book Day is so important, and a well-deserved tradition at the Potter’s House.
