Each year the Salvation Army kicks off it’s Red Kettle Campaign. For the last couple of years, they have asked a class from The Potter’s House to attend and sing. On Friday, November 9, 2018, Miss Cantrall’s 4th/5th-grade class stepped onto the stage at Rosa Parks Circle. Singing Silent Night while scattered snowflakes dusted the skies, our students stood with confidence and happy smiles. After, as warm hot cocoa filled their bellies, the Salvation Army bells began to ring.
We are thankful for the opportunity to support the good work that is accomplished through the diligent hands of Salvation Army staff and volunteers and we pray they exceed their goal of $1.5 million this year.
