Dear Potter’s House Families,

The Potter's House preparedness plan outlines the measures that have been put in place in order to prevent and respond to the presence of COVID-19 within our community. We are taking thorough measures in order to ensure that your students have a safe and highly valuable year at The Potter’s House. We still believe that in-person learning is the best form of education in order to fulfill our mission to provide a Christ-centered education and form faithful disciples who are equipped with the knowledge and skills that God will use in his Kingdom.

We also understand the need to be flexible and adaptable. As we receive new, developing information from state and local authorities, we ensure that we will communicate any potential changes that need to take place in order to provide a safe learning environment for our staff, students, and guests. We have been and will continue to be in regular communication with the local health department as we navigate how to best serve our students and their families.

We find comfort in knowing that we serve a God who is sovereign and who loves us enough to lay down his life so that we could have ours with him. We also find comfort in his church and see how this past year has strengthened our resolve and brought us closer as a beloved community, a community in which all are cared for and marked by a love for God and a love for one another.

Thank you for your patience and partnership as we continue the pursuit to form faithful disciples of Jesus and embody the Kingdom of God in any circumstance.

In Christ,

John Booy, Superintendent
