The Potter's House Preparedness and Response Plan
The Potter’s House remains focused on fulfilling its mission to provide a Christ-centered education for children of all ethnic heritages and income levels, equipping them to serve God and society to their fullest potential. Our highest priority continues to be the spiritual, physical, social, and emotional well-being of our students and staff. We have kept this at the forefront of all our discussions in developing the reopening plan.
Since March of 2020, the administrative team and the staff task force have worked to develop plans to provide a safe and effective learning environment for our students for face-to-face instruction. We have also developed plans for a robust remote learning experience for families who need the option because of COVID-19 reasons, such as being in a period of quarantine/isolation or having a household member who is immunocompromised.
For the most up-to-date school information, please review the COVID-19 Preparedness Plan and FAQ below. Before arriving at school every day, parents and staff are asked to complete the Daily Health Screener that is provided in partnership with Kent County Health Department.
Gratefully, we have incredible teachers, staff members, volunteers, coaches, donors, and parents who go the extra mile to ensure the success of all of our students. We have the confidence that God will lead us forward and that we will be able to accomplish every task that he’s put before us.
